Pass Plus is six extra modules you do after passing your test, which cover urban & rural roads, all-weather & night driving and dual carriageways & motorways. There is no exam at the end of it. The Pass Plus Promise is if you learn and take your driving test with Hooter's and pass it first time you will receive Pass Plus FREE, saving you approximately £150.00 on the Pass Plus course with also a saving of up to a THIRD on your car insurance!

For Free Pass Plus the student must have had a minimum of 30 hours of driving lessons with Hooter's Driving School and pass the practical exam FIRST time using the Hooter's car, without having taken any previous practical driving tests with another driving school/instructor or using a private vehicle.  If  you pass the practical test first time using your own/another vehicle, you no longer qualify for FREE Pass Plus. 

Your FREE Pass Plus MUST be taken within six months of passing your test, subject the instructor's availability.  Once you have received a date for your Pass Plus, because of the large amount of time it demands of the instructor, if the date is not convenient you MUST give more than 7 days notice to move/cancel it. If you cancel within 7 days you will lose your eligibility for FREE Pass Plus. If you cancel Pass Plus, giving the required notice, 3 times or more you will again lose your eligibility for FREE Pass Plus. If you still wish to participate in the Pass Plus scheme you will have to pay the full price of £150.00. If you do not qualify for Free Pass Plus you will still be able to participate in the scheme but at full cost.

Pass Plus can be taken in one day or over two or three days, subject to your and the instructors availability. Once completed, the signed form will be sent by recorded delivery to the DSA. After it has been sent, the instructor has no influence as to when you will receive your certificate. It can take up to a month for it to be returned to you so please do not hassle the instructor. If you have not received it after two months then you may contact the instructor. If you do not wish to undergo the Free Pass Plus Promise, please inform your instructor.

Some of my students who have recently passed have been eligible for low insurance WITHOUT taking Pass Plus or have received a cheaper quote without it with a non participating insurer, if this is the case then it is not necessary for you to complete the Pass Plus course. The discounts available with Pass Plus vary depending on the Insurance company. Please contact a participating Insurer for a quote. If you get a cheap insurance quote without having to do the Pass Plus course but would still like some MOTORWAY TRAINING then I will do that FREE instead of the Pass Plus course. You must advise me of this as soon as possible.
