So you can check out my personality, here's an insight to  me, with some 'choice' questions, asked by students!





What job did you do before you were a driving instructor?

 Various field sales jobs, selling all sorts from school photography,  to advertising - very stressful , target driven, had a bottle of Gaviscon permanently in my glove box!


What was the naughtiest thing you ever did at school/college/uni?

I wasn't really 'naughty' - I come from a family of police so it wouldn't have looked good!  I suppose the worst I did was that I NEVER attended my history lessons at Uni, I didn't like the teacher and they kept sending me letter that if I didn't go I'd only get a low grade - bothered????



If you could have any job what would it be?

I would LOVE to be a Police Officer in an unmarked Police car..... so I can stop all those 'divs' I see on the road all day and every day!!


If you could be in any country right now where would you be and why?

Anyone that knows me knows that I am partial to going to the States,  I'm really not sure why I like it, I know it sounds strange but I kinda feel at home there! Give it a couple more years and having taken on a few more instructors and Henderson, Nevada here I come!


You are stranded on a desert island, name 3 things you would take and why? (not including a boat)

I can't live with out diet coke so definitely as much of that as possible.  The pizza menu from my local take away and my mobile to order it! (Will they deliver?)


Who is celeb secret crush?

 Sorry but it is Simon Cowell!! I know it's wrong but you asked!


You are having a dinner party & can invite 5 people - past or present - who would they be?

 Gordon Ramsey (to cook it), Michael Buble (to supply the music), Peter Kay (to provide the entertainment)  Richard Branson (to pay for it all) and Simon Cowell (for dessert - yum!!!!)



What character from a Disney movie would you most want to be?

 Mary Poppins, have you seen how much she can get into that bag!!!


Are you superstitious, if so which do you follow? 

Not really, touch wood - ha ha ha! Although I do have a ritual before I go for test, the car always get washed and I put a new air freshener in!!

 

What was your favourite cartoon/show as a kid?

I love the Warner Bros cartoons,  Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner etc.  Oh yes and He-Man (Master of the Universe - I HAVE THE POWEEEEEEER!!!) I also used to love watching the A-Team, Knightrider and Grange Hill.


What's your favourite way to unwind after a roller coaster ride of a lesson with a student?

 A large gin & tonic, a few bottles of Becks, followed by a couple of vallium!!!


What makes you cringe?

Girls with 'muffin tops' exposed! Oh and people in pyjamas.....outside!!! Both are nasty and should be against the law!


Do you have any phobias, if so what are they?

Yes I do - I hate geese and bananas - ANYTHING that represents a banana, with banana in it, the smell, the sight, the thought..........bleur!!! A goose yielding a banana would be my worst nightmare!

 

What is your weirdest food combination?
I kinda like cheese savoury and mustard sandwiches.  And I have part-taken in garlic ice cream before which, actually was surprisingly good!


What is your favourite time of year?

Definitely summer - BBQs, light nights, the occasional hot day!!  I hate winter with  passion, I think you should be allowed to hibernate, from say…end September till about….. April!!!


Who would you want to play you in a movie?

Ooo, 'Hooter's - The Movie' ha ha ha, I think Dawn French! I think she'd 'fit' the role perfectly!


What is your pet hate?

Boy racers! Get over yourselves! You all drive 'girls' cars anyway, that's why you black out the windows so no one can see it's you!! And people who don't indicate!!!


What's your most annoying habit?

Some call it sarcasm, I call it wit!!! Oh yes, and I like things done my way!

Perfectionist, creative, independent (I need more than 3!!)
